What Causes Error 9060?
There are two major causes of error 9060: improper installation/uninstallation and malware programs. Every time a program is installed or uninstalled on your computer, there is a potential for the Registry to become corrupt. This is because software programs install and remove many different DLL and system files that are linked in the Registry. The other major cause of error 9060 is malware. Viruses and spyware change core system files and their corresponding Registry entries.
When either of these two situations occur, you may see errors messages, freezes, poor performance or blue screen crashes.
